T O P I C R E V I E WDirkGot this as being autopen, but think the signature is genuine....JonnyedI am not a expert but to my eye I would guess this is autopen, based on appearance of lines at the end of ink lay-down.Perhaps a more skilled and recognized judge can also weigh in...RichieB16It doesn't match either of these autopen patterns.DirkMore detailed scan:Ken HavekotteIt looks okay to me and I have a few similar signature patterns like this as well. Dr. Lenoir only had a single autopen signature from NASA that I know of, however, in person autographs of the early scientist astronaut and one-time shuttle flyer do vary somewhat. This longer-type version, I believe, were some of his earlier samples, but in personsignatures are usually shortened and many signed as "W B Lenoir."At present, and to the best of my knowledge, I know of no secretarial signatures applied for him.
